Amanda Beard, Amanda Ray Beard, born October 29, 1981 in Irvine, California, is an American swimmer

Starting his career at Olympic 1996 Olympics in Atlanta just 14 years, she won two silver medals in individual races in both the breaststroke, becoming Olympic champion with the U.S. 4x100-meter relay 4 medley.


After a bronze medal at the next Olympiad, she achieves its best season in 2003 during World 2003 in Barcelona, she won the world title in 200 meters breaststroke in establishing the world record. It adds two new silver medals.
